Marc Harris is the founder and lead stylist of Salon Marc Harris (formerly Ecocentrix). With over twenty years of experience on the first block of Boston's famed Newbury Street, Marc Harris is recognized throughout the industry as a Master. Marc has appeared on numerous television shows and his work has appeared in numerous trade publications and fashion magazines. Under the guidance and direction of Marc Harris, Salon Marc Harris (formerly Ecocentrix) has been recognized as one of Boston's premier salons for over thirteen years. Many of the Industry's leading stylists and fellow salon owners have been mentored by Marc and built their reputations while working under him at Salon Marc Harris (formerly Ecocentrix).

Newbury Street isn't just for women. Marc Harris is a "guys" guy! Both my wife come here together. I love, she loves it. My wife actually thinks I have style. Don't forget to check out the massage chairs when you get your hair washed. Thanks Marc!

1st, the people who work there are lovely. The interior is very inviting but most especially Marc knows my hair & Sid knows color. I feel like family there.

I have been having my hair cut and styled by Marc for many years - he is the best! The service at the salon is always superb; from the receptionist to the shampooing to the colorist. And of course those fantastic massage chairs must get a mention. I can't see myself going anywhere else.

Salon Marc Harris was the first Salon I ever visited outside of the Midwest where I spent the first 25 years of my life. I was treated with respect, made to feel at home, and was comfortable to let them tell me what they recommended. They did not go beyond my comfort zone and yet encouraged me enough to try a new style that is fabulous.

The staff at Salon Marc Harris are very personable, they treat everyone with the utmost respect, there are no prima donna's working there. The salon is very comfortable yet chic with an innovative style and flair which is reflective of the styles and service received by all.

Marc takes the time to create a hairstyle that not only works with your hair texture, face shape, etc., but also with your lifestyle - you get a fabulous look with just the effort you WANT to put into it - no "it looks better when I blow dry it" hair styles!

Excellent Service-friendly-always greeted with a smile. The stylist I use, Robert, always does a perfect style for me and is aware of current trends and has new ideas. He is very personable and easy to talk to. I love the massage chairs that are used during the hair washing

I have received the best haircut and color of all of my years getting it coiffed. Plus their shampooers give terrific head massages while you sit in a vibrating, massaging chairs.

I have been going to the Marc Harris salon (with Sydney) for a long time and every time I leave I feel great! My hair looks amazing and everyone wants to know who does my hair! The atmosphere is cool and everyone is really great at their jobs.

Salon Marc Harris is fantastic! I followed Jeremy Dellaria there over 3 years ago and have not found a more enjoyable and inviting salon in all my years of going to one. The service is exceptional and Jeremy is certainly one of the top stylists in Boston!

My experience with Chris, a stylist at Salon Marc Harris, has been nothing short of exceptional. Always attentive, he focuses on making my experience there a relaxing one. This is secondary, however, to his distinctive ability to translate my poorly-communicated requests into truly fabulous cuts, every time. I have received repeated compliments on my hair since moving to Boston, and the credit belongs entirely to Salon Marc Harris.

The quality of the service, the expertise of the stylists and the charm of the entire staff, combined with a great location and a fabulous (best on Newbury) massage chair with your shampoo make each visit a treat! And worth the trip into Boston on a regular basis.

Friendly efficient desk staff-especially Jake. My stylist, Mary Letson, always listens to me and is always willing to try something new whether it's cut or color. She doesn't let me get stuck in a hair cut rut! She understands my lifestyle and the amount of time I want to spend on my hair and styles it accordingly.

I love the salon for one main reason: Mary Letson. She is a brilliant stylist and a totally lovely person. I trust her implicitly, and it's always a pleasure to come get my hair cut from Mary. While she is a total professional, I also feel a real connection with her. In addition, I like the friendly environment at the salon.

Paula Starr is by far the best stylist I've ever been to. Unfortunately, I don't live in Boston anymore, but I'm considering flying back just to have her cut my hair! It's a short cut, and nobody else seems to take the time to get it right.
