From the moment you enter the front door, you realize the Ritual Tavern is not your typical pub. Most everything on the menu is made fresh "in house" The shepherd's pie made with lamb or vegan styles, the veggie burger, french fries, mustard, ketchup, coleslaw, pickles and shortbread are all Ritual creations. Nightly specials include blackened catfish with organic red beans and rice, Niman Ranch meatloaf with georgian salad and potatoes, and porkloin with a seasonal fruit glaze served with crimson carrots and wax beans. Serving local Beers (Alesmith, Greenflash, Port, Ballast Point, Stone, Lightning) on tap, and 30+ world class bottle options, the Ritual has something for most every beer snob. The innovative food is made with local ingredients, organic when possible, with no high fructose corn syrup. The lodge-like atmosphere is classy and the owners and staff sweet as can be.

I haven't tried dinner main courses yet, but the fries and desserts are good. They let you taste wine to decide if you want to order a glass and the beer selection is excellent. The atmosphere is quiet and classy.
