Of course it is in between play dates, 500 lbs of laundry, or the millionth trip to the grocery store mind you, but hopefully you get the picture! I'm just a regular, average person trying to put my kooky stamp on the world."

The Red Shoes owner and other shop ladies are so friendly and remember their customers! They have wonderful and unique items. I always shop there for gifts. My kids LOVE checking out the fairy door every time they go, too.

Such an inspiring place - there's heart & soul in every eclectic ware you see - just inside that red door! I visited Ann Arbor for the first time (all the way from South Bend, IN) JUST TO VISIT Red Shoes & meet Catherine! Her little shop puts Ann Arbor on the map for me!

Catherine has an amazing eye for good finds and merchandising. She made gift shopping fun again in Ann Arbor. Never do I visit without overextending the budget...but happily so...these are *treasures*. Catherine is a beautiful and incredibly talented person. Her heart and soul is there. She's not just out for profit, it's her art. And she's original to Ann Arbor!
