I love the furniture but also purchased Red River's hand sewn silk wrap pants...they are awesome! Try out their Spa Products as well.

I first found Red River in their original 1000 square foot space in the South End. I have continued to frequent their showroom since they moved to a 4000 sq foot showroom and am never bored. The unique items are everywhere and they even have a 10,000 square foot warehouse with additional items.

I work in the South End so even when I am not buying anything, I go into the store to look around. I don't think I have ever been to another store that is even remotely as beautiful as Red River Trading.

I have not outfitted my entire home with items from Red River; however, the most interesting items in my home come from there and they are the pieces that get the most attention from my house guests.

I recently moved to Boston from San Francisco and was pleasantly surprised to find Red River Trading. San Francisco has many Asian themed home accessories stores and Red River is as good as anything I ever saw in SF.

Though my house is full, I still love coming to Red RIver to see their beautiful inventory. The have a warehouse that is chock full as well so they are constantly bringing new items into the store. It is a real treat!

I purchased a red lacquered sideboard fro my flat screen television and it simply finishes the room. Red River has also begun finishing items in new funky colors like oranges. blues and greens. It is the best of both worlds...hard wood furniture with funky new finishes.

A wonderful store with unique items for the home. They recently added Nepali and Tibetetan artifacts. It is well worth the visit.

I am in love with red rivers accessories. The silk pants from Vietnam are to die for....and the price is so reasonable you will not believe....this place is spectacular!

I was looking for an odd size pair of bed side tables. I found the perfect ones made from reclaimed (old wood) teak. They look great and were good value.

Go to Red River simply to soak up the atmosphere. It is something akin to being in an international marketplace with treasures to be found everywhere.

I know Red River has furniture but I love to shop there for the accessories; the spa products and assoted rice containers. I can neverleave there without finding a place in my home for something.

I shopped at Red River when they first opened and then moved away. I liked their items so much that I purchased a number of pieces 'online' and had them shipped. My favorite is a set of 4 antique doors that i had made into a screen that I used to separate my loft space. It looks fantastic.

I purchased a black lacquered chest for my foyer. Though my decor is what I would describe as 'modern' the chest with it straight lines isa perfect complement to my 'look and feel'.

I ordered stained glass lanterns from Red River and since I don't go into Boston I had them shipped to me in Newton. Aside from the packaging being top shelp, the lanterns themselves are gorgeous and I know summer is year when i light them for the first time!

The owner has a great eye. Most of the items are classical chinese furniture....like Shaker...straight lines etc...it fits withany desgn style.

If you love Asian furniture and home accessories the most affordable manner to get them is from Red River. They go to the source and are DIRECT IMPORTERS. So they pick all the pieces and ship them over in containers. Great things.

I have been coming to Red River for years. When they first opened they carried mostly Chinese items; however, they are always exploring new regions and now include Tibet and Nepal Ghana and Morroco. It is a true resource.

I discovered the store this weekend and it was a welcome refuge from the rain. Great music, great wine, great ambiance and did I mention their inventory of home goods, furniture etc from around the world is second to none...go check them out.

Home furnishings for all occasions that fit any space, nook , and cranny. The help is great and if they don't have what you are looking for they will look in their 10,000 sq foot warehouse and send you digital photos.

I had never been down to this area in the South End and much to my pleasant surprise there was a lot going on. There are more than a handful of stores that cater to the person looking to outfit their condo or home. Take a day and decorate your abode but make sure to stop at Red River as their inventory is simply outstanding.

A diverse selection of chest and cabinets, Red River is fantastic. Take advantage of your time in this part of the South End and visit some of the other stores like Aunt Sadies.
