Red Hot & Blue began as a labor of love for Tennessee Congressman (and later Governor) Don Sundquist, two of his former staff members, Wendell Moore and Joel Wood, and me, a network TV correspondent. We wanted a place where we could eat Memphis-style bar-b-que and listen to our favorite tunes.
