Fabulous bookstore that is known for its great selection. The booksellers know what they are talking about; they know books in a way that you are most unlikely to encounter at an anonymous big box store. One great part about Reader's Corner is that they have quite a few shelves outside that are available 24 hours a day. You can go there at night, put some change in the donation box (you'd better!) and just walk away with some of the books at 2:30. These aren't shabby books, either. You can find a lot of popular titles out there. All the donations go to NPR!

Reader's Corner not only has a great book selection, they also carry CDs and DVDs at much cheaper prices than I've encountered anywhere else.

The staff is extremely knowledgeable. If you ask them if they carry a book, they will not only know exactly where it is, they will also know if it's any good, if the sequels were any good, if the author is still living and planning more sequels, and even if the movie made from the book was any good. Plus, they're more than happy to buy your used books and media from you, and give you either cash or store credit. (And they're always very generous with store credit.)

At the same time, if you don't want to talk to them, they're not going to bother you. In fact, if you want books without even going inside, some of the most fun paperbacks are only $0.10 a piece along the outside wall! And you can buy them at 4:00 AM if you feel like it!

I go to this place to relax when I've had a hard week. Nothing's better than going home with armloads full of books when they only cost you about $2.00 altogether.
