Akira first opened in 2002 as a single Women's Clothing store in trendy Wicker Park/Bucktown and is equally owned by Erikka Wang, Jon Cotay, and Eric Hsueh. Over the last four years, Akira has since expanded to six stores and a website. Akira now offers a full-line of Women and Men's Clothing, Footwear, and Accessories. Known just as much for their exciting Fashion Shows and jam-packed parties as they are for their huge denim bar, dead-on trend selections, and expert service. Akira is the weekly destination for men and women who like to go out and looks good.
