This is one of my favorite stores ever. Every time I go there, I want to buy everything in sight. Where else am I going to get a hand-carved heart alter or little clay pigs? It's an amazing store chock-full of folk art and fun finds. Great for gift shopping.
Original Mexican & Indian arts and crafts, outstanding displays, superb women's
clothing and jewelry--extremely helpful and friendly staff

The store has many wonderful different things to choose from and what I need is readily available or they will take the time to order a certain items. It is a special place to go to on every season of the year. You will be inspired by a visit to this one of a kind store.
Best place around to purchase one of a kind gifts and things for the home. Friendly and helpful staff! The only place around to get the real deal.
Such a unique and varied assortment of Mexican arts & crafts as well as from other parts of the world. Attractive displays, great service. Love it.
Nomad has a wonderful variety of great out-of-the-ordinary gifts (especially for Christmas) and I just discovered their wonderful clothes line. Not something for every day, but a great treat every time! Hands down my favorite shop in Boston.
Nomad has great collections of both International and Local Designers! I always find something great!! And the people who work there are the BEST for helping with the look you want!
Nomad is the place to go if you appreciate hand made and ethnic clothing, jewelery and artifacts. The window displays are always mouthwateringly eyecatching, and lure you in to an Alladin's cave of beautiful and unique things. The people that work there are charming and helpful, and Deb, the owner is dedicated to seeking out and providing affordable but high quality merchandise. Many of her purchases support cooperatives and groups whose lifestyles depend upon finding a market for their handmade products. Deb has a tremendous eye for the one of a kind or unique. Her store shows things off in a inspiring international style, that lifts the spirit and makes one want to travel. It is hard to leave the store without making a purchase, and she has things for sale in all price ranges. Nomad is a mecca for those that crave things with the handmade touch, that are an antidote to the highly designed, machine made items in most other stores. Her colours are luscious and make you dare to wear hot pink, red and pistachio. The materials pamper the senses with the feel of fine silk, soft wool, pashmina, densly stitched quilting, crisply handwoven cotton, embellishments of beads, sequins, shells and embroidery. The place smells good as well. If you like fabulous jewelery, she has some fantastic pieces. It is a great place to sent the husband before a birthday, christmas or any special occasion that warrants a gift. The purchases are always beautifully wrapped in brightly coloured tissue paper and a gorgeous orange carrier bag.
Nomad is a treasure-trove of exotic and quirky items that you'd never find locally. From the incredibly affordable to the decadently luxurious, there's something for every price-range - as long as you have fabulous, eclectic taste!
Nomad is my favorite shopping destination - cool clothes and gifts with a real world beat
I like Nomad a lot, they have great stuff, and the owner puts a lot of work into finding it all. The best part is Mary Galli works there! She is a very talented local artist, and while I used to think that Nomad was a little snooty, Mary is so friendly she brings it down to earth.
Nomad is a different and unique type of shop.I feel like I am in Mexico when I go there. You can find items you cannot find any where else. I love it.
A wonderful source for high-quality crafted goods from all over the world and funky women's clothing.
