Bromfield Camera Co., a family owned and operated camera store for over 41 years and winner of the CBS4 2006 Best Camera store in Boston Award,has again been nominated because of their outstanding customer service, competitive prices and outstanding product knowledge. They have won numerous better business bureau awards as well as being voted as Boston's Best by both the Improper Bostonion and the Tab newspaper. The store, located just steps from Downtown Crossing and Park Street, offers a vast selection of new and used digital cameras and video equipment. They offer sales, repairs and rentals and also do passport photos. Their sales staff is extremely helpful and will spend as much time as you need demonstrating the features of different products as well as product instruction.

The owners, Russ and Steve and their staff have always made it a pleasure to shop there. I spent a wonderful 5 days in Boston as a visitor from overseas. I live in Auckland New Zealand and I stumbled across Bromfield's when I was out looking for a pen (across the street from Bromfield's). All I can say is that I spent some of the best times of my trip in that shop - I was constantly returning not only for their excellent advice on Nikon cameras but also for their conversation, but also for their genuine interest in me and I would end up spending 1-2 hours just talking life, family and stuff. I cannot recommend them highly enough. Visiting their shop was the highlight of my visit to your lovely city of Boston. They are true camera enthusiasts but also their shop is alive with truly great Americans.

I have been doing business for the past 25 years with Bromfield Camera. During this time they have been consistently outstanding!! Their prices are very competitive but the chief reason for my loyalty is their willingness to spend all the time needed to provide answers to my camera and video questions. The owners, Russ and Steve keep up to date on the latest innovations and products. I am very dependent on them!!

For me Bromfield Camera is not only the best photo shop in Boston but also in the world because everyone there, without exception, treats you like you are part of one big family. It is such a joy to go to there. I wish I could have brought Bromfield Camera with me when I left Boston!
