Cabot's Ice Cream & Restaurant has been dubbed a 'hidden jewel' by the Phantom Gourmet. We offer over 70 different flavors of ice cream and frozen yogurt, with a variety of over 30 different toppings. We're a family owned and operated old-fashioned ice cream parlor and restaurant. Serving Newton since 1969...one scoop at a time. We are especially known for our generous portions of unique premium ice cream and frozen yogurt creations. We serve breakfast (all day), lunch, dinner and late night treats featuring deli style sandwiches, wraps, flame-broiled burgers, salads, and traditional home-style dinners.

Love Cabot's it's been around for years and the ice cream is great and it's the only place I can find mellow cream fudge sauce, yum!!

I just recently got into the Cabot Habit. I love this place and everything about it. They let me make everyday a Sundae. Food is great, people are friendly, and you never spend very much money. The only bad thing is there is too much to choose from and I can never make up my mind.

PURE HEAVEN! The sundaes are the best I've ever had -and I've had MANY :) They just ooze with deliciousness, it's a sin not to try it!

When you enter Cabot's, you feel like you have just stepped into the 1950's! The atmosphere is great, and the food, particularly the to-die-for ice cream makes the trip to Cabot's well worth it!

Quantity with Quality at a Reasonable price - this RARE combination is what makes Cabot's unique and delightful. Their Ice Cream creations, especially "the Sultan's Delight" is absolutely heavenly.

Great family place, owner works the table and is always very friendly. Great place for breakfast, cheap and tastes great! We had over from Brookline and I always look forward to going to Cabots!

delicious, smell, taste, and mouth-feel satisfying ice cream and not too much cloying butterfat. Not too heavy with the "right amount" of air whipped into the ice cream and excellent "melts in your mouth" softness.

It always seems bustling at Cabot's. The waitstaff are very pleasant, and serve up some fascinating ice cream concoctions. My favorite is simple: a root beer float.

Cabot's has been an institution in Newton for so long. Their ice cream is delicious and their help friendly and helpful. They have always supported the local charity causes in Newton without hesitation. I wholeheartedly support their nomination for this award.

I grew up around the corner from Cabot's many many moons ago . . .and have since moved to Denver ten years ago. However, when I visit home, a stop at Cabot's for a black and white frappe is always a treat! Good luck!!!

Cabot's is definitely the best in Newton. They do the simple things right (hot food is hot, cold food is cold, service is great and friendly.) They also have great burgers, and of course, ice cream and fro-yo.
