The Running Company was started in 1998 with the opening of the company's first store in Princeton, NJ. More than just a business venture, the Running Company was started as an expression of the enthusiasm for the sport of running and its healthy life style. This enthusiasm is shared by a well-educated, dedicated, and experienced staff. Their commitment to the sport of running is a “way of life.” All of us at the Running Company will take the time to properly fit you in the correct training shoes, apparel, and accessories. We are dedicating ourselves to serve the running and fitness community of greater Boston. Running and fitness has become a four-season event in New England. Us “New Englanders” pride ourselves on braving the bitter cold northeast winds of winter as well as the hot, humid, sultry days of summer. At the running company we look forward to sharing our passion and knowledge about running to help you enjoy and maximize your workout, whether it is in the harshness of January, the scalding heat of August, or on a pleasant spring or fall day.
