Qingdao Garden Restaurant

This place is kind of hidden in plain site on Massachusetts avenue in North Cambridge. Serves traditional chinese fare, but without the grease and requisite stomach ache. Prices are great.

This unassuming restaurant in Cambridge serves authentic Chinese items but also serve up traditional American versions if you like. Qingdao garden has many northern-style dishes but many other styles are on the menu. One speciality to look for are the freshly made dumplings which are cooked fresh. They even sell dumplings frozen in large batches to take home. While the decor is definitely on the utilitarian side, expect respectable service if you eat in. Prices are very reasonable and on par with many Chinese restaurants.
