I'll preface this review by disclosing that I am an unabashed Chinese-food junky. Mary Chung's is probably one of the more authentic Chinese restaurants in Cambridge. They have some very good dishes including:
* Lion's Head (special)
* Wonton Soup (or Hot and Sour Wonton)
* Suan La Chow
* Yu Hsiang Eggplant
* Mu Shu

The cause for concern is that the menu is overloaded with so much crap. They give you like 4 different menus when you walk in, and the authentic stuff is hard to find if you don't know what you're doing. As a result, many people that visit here end up ordering what they know. The problem is "what you know" (American Chinese Food) is made very poorly at Mary Chung (read: General Gao's, dumplings, lo-mein). I guess it isn't a very legitimate complaint, but it's a complaint nonetheless.
