As a Immigrante from Brazil, I experience BJJ from the source train under top gracie/non-gracie schools, when I move to maryland I visit all the BJJ/MMA camps yes they do offer good things but lets not compare with Maguilla's schools experience,knowledge,very good and friendly members to work with......(When I first found his academy I honest think a little funny,so I call some folks back home and they call other folks, and the words got to me Maguilla used to be a Bad MF back on the days one of Carlson Gracie's best student/fighter,and I still positive he his little older now but if he work hard again I can definitely see him win some top events or even fight in a ring people don't know how fast his hands are and how sharp his Vale tudo skills are until they roll with him.)
On top of that Maguilla's lives his own Carioca way of life, always joking with students,having fun,training hard..... once I am inside his school I feel like I am back in Brazil.
And to finish the comment on my academy of choice,and my professor I will said Best Place to train even if I was in Brazil I still work under him.

As someone who has been training in the martial arts for 15 years under a variety of styles and instructors, I am someone who is not easily impressed. Maguilla impresses me. Maguilla's approach to Jiu-Jitsu is concise, very effective. The Best place to train!
