I went to this salon based on all these comments and my hair cut is the worst hair cut I've gotten in years. I've never written anything like this before but a month and a half later, I can't stand the sight of my hair. I'm sick of wearing it up yet can't wear it down. I was told Fred was FAB with long layers. I took the time to exactly explain what I wanted; cut off two inches, long BLUNT layers, no texturing, no Rachel "Friends" hair-do. What did I get...textured long layers reminiscent of Rachel from "Friends"! I don't understand why most hair dressers don't understand the simplicity of blunt long layers? Layers not cut on an angle, not textured not blended to the point your hair looks unhealthy and broken. Since I was a first time customer, I would think any hair dresser would want repeat biz, right? My suggestion.......be personable and say more then two sentences during the entire session. I would not recommend this salon based on listening skills, not getting what you explained!!! Especially since you went in with the hair cut you asked for just needing to be cleaned up! They can keep the $100 Bucks if I can get my hair BACK!!

The salon is gorgeous. The people are friendly. Since I am an older woman, I really appreciate feeling welcomed and comfortable there. Remi is my stylist, and he always does something different and exciting to my hair. I get complements very often on my hair cut and hair style. I have been a client of Remi's at three previous locations, and it is great to have his place in our neighborhood!

Remi is a master stylist. I always get compliments on my hair cut whether it's long, short or in between. I've used Mara for color and she is really fabulous. I'm not into color often - I do it for fun every now and then. She did such a great job that she's making me think of doing it more often.

Jennifer Thong can make you look beautiful with nothing but a straight razor, and her haircuts get me compliments for weeks and weeks after I've been to her salon. She is a gifted stylist, and those are hard to find. Go see her!!!

I have tried many salons in the Virginia/DC area and this one is by far the best. I have never had so many compliments from people on how great my hair looks. The team is wonderful as well as the atmosphere. I really enjoy going there.

One80 combines talent and friendliness! You are made to feel like someone special when you visit there and the place is very warm and casual - not pretentious like many of the other DC salons.

Jeremy is the best colorist I've been to in the past forty years! He really listens and is a true artist. I enjoy the way he and Remy run their salon, slick and efficient but very cozy! Best wishes!!

Remi does an AMAZING job on short hair. I swear, that man is a genius. Jeremy's color is very long-lasting, super shiny, and the pattern of highlights he creates is just beautiful.

They have a total commitment to their clients. Too many local salons treat their customers like a piece of cattle, herding them from one spot to another. Not at One80, where they take their time and do a wonderful job on both the actual hair treatment as well as customer service.

These folks really know how to LISTEN to their clients. And regardless of the cutting edge decor and product, there's no attitude. I love this place.

Clean, organized, on time, flat-screen TVs placed in front of coloring chairs for viewing while you wait, good haircut, very accommodating, no constant chit-chat if you just want to relax while your hair is being cut and colored.

Jeremy Buchanan, the owner, does amazing highlights and color! Also, they have super-comfortable washing stations with reclining chairs for your shampoo and rinse.

Remi gives the best haircut I've ever had. Jeremy is great with color. Both are friendly and willing to listen. The whole staff is very nice. I have followed them to their new shop even though I live in Virginia. The shop environment is relaxing and lovely.

The people - Remi and Jeremy are the best - I have known them for many, many years. They are true professionals and know the business. They do an amazing job !!!! And the most important thing - they truly care for their customers!

Remi is just extraordinarily talented - an artist really. But nothing outlandish, and nothing blah. I don't even tell him what it is I want anymore - I just let him do what it is he needs to do to my hair to make it what will make it best. This is his talent, not mine. The decor of the studio says much of the class the owners and stylist maintain through the artistic vision they display in every detail and in every texture, something truly innate and in few people. And with this staff, the majority have chosen to express their innate talent through the styling of hair. Lucky for us! Should I even add how kind they are and considerate of unique personalities? I am not a chatty client and love that I do not have to feel I need to converse excessively when at the salon. I know some people like that, but not I. It is nice to come in and simply relax and know that I will always be content when I leave.

The stylists and colorists are top notch. I've been seeing Jeremy and Remy since I moved to Washington. They listen well, suggest options, but don't try to pressure you. They are focused on your satisfaction from the moment you walk in the door.

Jeremy is the best hair colorist in the world! He is straightforward about what is good for your hair type, style, and face shape, and is an expert on knowing what suits you best and delivering it. After Remy has cut and blow dried my hair I get masses of compliments, I wish I could afford to visit every day! The salon is stylish and everyone is friendly.

From the moment I arrive at One80 I know I can relax and trust each of the staff to spoil me. Starting with a joyous welcome from reception to the warmth and personal attention I receive from Jeremy (the best colorist in Washington!), Remi (who does not just style hair, he transforms it, making me look and feel fabulous each and every time) and Jennifer (whose personality is infectious -- try to have a bad day with her around!) a visit to One80 is always a great experience!

One80 knows how to treat a client. It is obvious, from the moment that a client walks in the door, that customer service is a high priority in this hip salon. The space is beautiful, modern, sleek, and innovative. The stylists and colorists are extremely talented. Jeremy Buchanan is the best colorist in DC, hands down!!!
