Gerard's Bakery is the Best! You have to try their Strawberry Shortcake. It is absolutely magnificent!!! It is so moist and the white chocolate just takes it over the top!!! I can taste it now. If you are looking for a cake that is not only beautifully decorated but also moist and heavenly then go to Gerard's Bakery!

I can only use "superlatives" when I describe Desserts by Gerard. This is an extraordinary bakery. Their cakes and pastries are "to die for." The chocolate-covered strawberries are simply scrumptious. (I chuckle to myself just thinking about those strawberries.) Go! Sample! Enjoy! It's pure decadence..."it is all that and then some"!!!!! (What a treasure.)

Desserts by Gerard makes simple the best cakes, pies and pastry in the DC area. Gerards buttercream icing is fabulous, the cakes are always moist, the decorations are a work of art, and the pastry is out of this world. He also has the best chocolate covered strawberries, bar none. You must try this place!
