PetMAC, the Marketplace and Adoption Center, is an innovative partnership between Pet Pantry Express, a for-profit business selling all-natural pet food and supplies since 2004, and Arlington-based Homeward Trails Animal Rescue, a non-profit animal rescue organization founded in 2002. Primarily a retail boutique selling high-quality, all-natural pet food, treats, baked goods, and pet supplies, PetMAC also serves as a pet adoption and animal education resource center and actively promotes the rescue and adoption of homeless animals. Additionally, a percentage of every item purchased at PetMAC goes directly toward Homeward Trails’ rescue efforts. Check out our website to read our Press Release and learn more about us!

PetMac is classy but yet easy going. The concept of pet adoption, animals welcome, information center and the newest items for dog and cat owners is phenominal. I enjoyed talking with the owners and felt a true concern for my time spent at their establishment. Keep it up and I am looking forward to doing buisness at PetMac.

We were new in town and having trouble finding the raw food diet our dog and cats were used to. We wandered into PetMAC and met Cindy and Sue. They both, were so helpful to us. They answered all our questions and even introduced us to a new dehydrated raw food diet that, not only meets our pets needs but also is much easier to prepare. PetMAC is our favorite shop in Arlington and we can always count on a friendly greeting when we visit.

This is an extremely wonderful idea! As a person who works with shelters and only has rescued dogs--a place to help that while doing what you have to (buy food and toys for your dog-) is like a breath of fresh air!

Not only does PetMAC serve up all natural pet food and treats including puppy cannolis, the owners donate a portion of their profits to Homeward Trails, a locally-based animal rescue organization.

PetMac is run by and supports one of the best animal rescue organizations in the area, Homeward Trails. I've adopted two pets through Homeward Trails and have found them to be both caring and competent. They truly go out of their way to make sure all the pets they take in can be placed in a loving home. They kept in touch with me in the couple of months following my adoptions to ensure everything was going well.

It is a great little shop backed with big ideals! It feels good to buy treats for my dog and cats knowing that their small treats are providing homes and care for other animals. All of our furries are adopted and we can't imagine life without them. We want others to fall in love with all those great rescued pets and PetMac helps us do that with a swipe of a credit card!

I know of some of the people who manage PetMAC. For many years, they have been committed to animals, especially homeless animals. Also, they offer great supplies and make purchases easy for the buyer.

They not only sell great all natural pet food but they also have one of the best pet adoption centers around. In addition, they donate a part of every sale to help homeless animals! They are just outstanding!

PetMAC is tops because every purchase helps make homeless, abandoned and abused animals who desperately need homes receive better health care and training before they are placed in homes. Homeward Trails and Pet Pantry Express have teamed up to create a fun, conscientious pet supply store in PetMAC for a very good and necessary cause.

I love how PetMAC directly supports animal rescue by donating a portion of profits to rescue, purchasing only goods from manufacturers who support animal rescue, and holding adoption and educational events. The store is in business for the animals and to give back to the animals/community, not to capitalize on the growing business of catering to pet owners.

The contents of the store are top notch! But the fact that a nonprofit is taking charge and raising their own money to help their homeless friends is phenomenal thinking. What animal lover would shop elsewhere?!?
