Wiseacres is an underrated venue. It has great atmosphere, staff, and of course, talent (nachos aren't bad either). I would easily spend my money there over any of the other venues listed.

Always a good show. The names might not be as well-known as those at the Improv, but the shows are just as good. And it's out here in Northern Virginia with plenty of free parking.

If you want to watch sitcom actors tell jokes someone else wrote for them, you go to the Improv. If you wanna see comedians perform comedy, you go to Wiseacres.

The young comics that come through wiseacres are the best I've ever seen. There is a comedy showcase called "the DC Young Unknowns" that is the best comedy show I've ever seen...check these guys out.

The management. Mike Diesel always is nice to the patrons and runs a great room.
