Brent’s was founded in 1967, then purchased by Ron Peskin and his wife Patricia. The restaurant continues to be owned and operated by his family. In addition to himself, Marc, his son-in-law and COO, Brent, his son and V.P., and his daughter Carie now run the business. In the beginning, Brent’s was a small 60-seat restaurant with only 11 employees, specializing in catering. Since then, Brent’s has grown to become the #1 delicatessen and restaurant in the country, surpassing the once notorious New York Deli’s. Brent’s now has over 125 employees and seating up-to 180 people with delivery, anywhere in Southern California; from Santa Barbara to San Diego. In addition to the Northridge location, the family will open the long awaited and highly anticipated second store this spring in Westlake Village.

My family and I have been going to Brent's since the say they opened in 1967. Nobody does "have it your way" better than Brent's. The food is top notch. Best Chopped Liver and Whitefish salad on the planet.
Quality and portion size, Brent's never fails, I always have to leave with a Black and White cookie.
My family has been going to Brent's for more than 30 years. It may have grown in size and clientile but this family run deli still has a lot of heart. Thanks for the amazing food and service Brent's!!
I grew up right up the street, and they're pastrami is so savory!!! They cater too!!
My father complains about restaurant's food, service and cleanliness all the time...even prices...Brent's he does not...he loves it there.
Consistent quality, great atmosphere, wide variety on menu, overall excellent experience.
Food is always great. Best pastrami in the city. Drinks are refilled constantly.
If you have ever eaten here, you would know how truly yummy their food is! I only wish that we lived closer (we moved away from the Valley!).
