Cupcakes are all the rage and we offer vanilla, chocolate, red velvet, carrot, italian cream and many more varieties as well as pastries, homemade cookies, wedding cakes as well as all ocassion cakes. The staff, Charlita Varner and Delores Warren, are classically trained pastry chefs who use only the freshest ingredients daily to make any occasion a memorable one.

Every time I go here, I purchase a different dessert. All are heavenly. I have eaten (along with family & friends) the chocolate éclairs, the cream puffs, the mini key lime pies, the cupcakes, italian cream cake (luscious!), the red velvet cupcake (dreamy), chocolate chip cookies (yummy), the fresh fruit tarts (delicious)...
As my children say, "Buttersweet Rocks!!"

This bakery is family owned and the spirit of the family is present from the moment you walk in the door. Sometimes, a sweet little girl greets you at the counter - if not her, then it is her mother (the master baker), or her father. Buttersweet bakery ROCKS! The sandwiches are a plus! Buttersweet is so sweet that it has furniture from the owner's mother's home - home buttersweet home:)

Char's brownies are amazing, but I must say that her German chocolate cake is out of this world! What a cool oasis to hang out in and catch up with friends. We love having you as our neighbor and wouldn't know what to do without you....Thanks a bunch....you're the greatest!

WOW! The chocolate chip cookies gave me goose bumps...even the bakery's sandwiches are a way 2 thumbs up! Hats off to Buttersweet Bakery and my congrats to the Hapeville and tri-city area.

Our clients form Delta Airlines have been so happy to have a place to find not just a Bakery, but a specialty Bakery. The bakery is a great addition to this community, I have many customers that work in the airport area (Delta) etc. that are now using this place for their sweets, The staff is very friendly , and everything is special and well made, consistent. I love the emmadoodles, great coconut, chocolate buttery cookie bar, and also the cup cake bar, make your own cup cakes, I like mine plain vanilla, sometimes chocolate icing is great.

Char, the owner of Buttersweet Bakery, has really given Hapeville and surrounding areas a new face lift with confections! Not only are her desserts out of this world, she has also brought back the true charm of a hometown bakery. Her food makes mouths water and her store draws people together. She is truly the definition of a successful entrepreneur.
