Perfect Cajun seafood at a great price. I have been going once a month since they opened.
The food is awesome!!!!!! And they have great service!!!!!!! Any body who comes in the local area or even from somewhere far away should come to Gumbeaux's
The absolute best blackened chicken salad and crab cakes I've ever eaten. It's worth the trip from anywhere!
The staff is great, and the food is amazing. You get more than enough for your money. My favorite place to go.
It's a fun place to eat!! With bartenders that have been there for ever, serving up train shots whats not to love!! Not only do they have a great staff, they have the best Cajun in Georgia!! (maybe even the south)
Gumbeaux's, hands down, is the best place to visit if you are looking for everything in a dining experience. Food, Drinks, Service, etc. By far, the best in Atlanta! Keep up the fantastic job!

Gumbeaux's has REALLY good food. Everytime my family and I go, we try something new because we are sure everything will be good. Everything comes in large portions so you get a lot of good food for you money. Overall best restaurant I've been to.
The tea and coffee is great. My favorite is the Blackened Chicken, and the Cajun Boiled potatoes.
The food is very original. The food is spiced perfectly. The service is awesome. (Nancy was great!) The seafood chowder is my favorite. And for dessert, the bread pudding with rum sauce is out of this world!
I have eaten at several of the restaurant listed and Gumbeaux's is by far the best
It's authentic. It's like being in the Bayou country of Louisiana. Everything cagin and everything good. It never changes.
The food is always great and the service is friendly. I love taking guests from out of town and now they all look forward to Gumbeaux's when they visit!
We have loved Gumbeaux's for years (10+). Not only do you find fantastic food, you have a great wait staff, the drinks are never watered down and hands down the best banana foster anywhere! Be there when the doors open or be ready to wait if you plan on going on the weekend.
See ya there!
The best Cajun food this side of Nawlins! And the other side, too!!!!! This gem of a restaurant is known to its regulars (like me) for its great food and giant portions! It's worth the drive across town or across the country. I have entertained folks from Vermont to California at Gumbeaux's and that's the first place they always want to go when they come back ! And, of course, we do!!!!!
I recently attended Gumbeaux's with a group of friends. The waitresses were the best. Our glasses never were empty, and they were always checking in to see if we needed anything. They had the best attitude of any restaurant staff I have seen in a long time. I will definitely be returning there soon
I love this place! It has a great atmosphere and the best Cajun food in the state! I wish I lived closer so I could eat here more!
I have been eating at Gumbeaux's for about 7 years now and it's consistent quality and specialty dishes has earned it (in my opinion) a long time partnership between business & consumer. Come early & beat the crowd (lunch or dinner). I have introduced many friends & business associates to Gumbeaux's and they are long term repeat customers. They have the right combination of friendly waiters, casual dining, and best cajun/creole dishes east of the Big Easy
This is the closest to REAL Louisana home cooking you can get anywhere in Georgia. The ettouffe is out of this world, along with the gumbo, jambalaya, fresh fish ponchartrain, seasme salmon..... well everything is just down right amazing. If you have not found this place yet, I suggest that you do.

The food is great and the portions are outstanding. Everyone is very friendly and make you feel at home. There is something for everyone to try from Gumbo to Fried Shrimp, and even grilled chicken for those who don't eat spicy.
Gumbeaux's has the authentic Cajun flavors--I am a huge fan of the etouffe. The portions are generous at a reasonable price. The service is friendly and attentive without being intrusive. Gumbeaux's is simply amazing.
I am originally from Louisiana and it makes me feel at home. The location reminds me of the French Quarter and the LSU decorations gives it a true Cajun feel.
You don't have to drive very far from home to get very tasty Cajun food. My personal favorite is the craw fish po boy sandwich dressed (with lettuce, tomato, red onion and their special mayonnaise and horseradish sauce), Cajun fries and a sweet tea. Every Mardi Gras that I can, I make a pilgrimage to Gumbeaux's. You should try them. In the words of the late Cajun cook Justin Wilson, "They're wondermous! I guarantee!"
