I live here I live here I live here!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I seriously go to every single Sal in the Detroit Metro Area.
I have shopped these stores for years. My favorite store is the STERLING HEIGHTS location @ 15 mile and Dodge park (btwn Schoenherr Rd & Van Dyke). It's huge, clean, friendly and so much fun! They have 7 pm sales each night and something planned every Saturday! Also you can't beat the 5 for $5 deals on Fridays. WHOO-HOOO Sales Rock!!
I love the Salvation Army store because I am always able to find quality clothing and home items and such reasonable costs!
Once you shop here, you will not want to go anywhere else. I've tried to shop other places, but just compare the prices to SA, and none are anywhere NEAR what the SA's are!
I always enjoy the selection of items available at the store, and I really enjoy the store at John R and Auburn Road in Sterling Heights, MI.
The staff members are always so cheerful and very helpful.
the customer service is great. Bought a computer there & the computer dept. was really helpful!
They have great and reliable computers - completely refurbished and ready to go.
I get clothes that are very in-style, some with the original tags still attached for less then a quarter of the original price. I love the Salvation Army...I also love that my money goes to a good cause! =)
I like the Reduce, Reuse, Recycle aspect of shopping at the SA. I drop off things that I no longer need, have fun shopping for new treasures at great prices and help others at the same time. Everyone wins.
Other than being a bit pricier than it used to be a year or two ago, the Salvation Army Store in Rochester Hills is a place to frequent. It has ever changing merchandise and the variety is most satisfying.
TSA Thrift Stores are not just store stores. They are businesses devoted to helping people. When I buy something from the SA store, I know the proceeds will go to good use. (I have been an SA shopper just about all my life. I also donate goods to the stores and money to the organization.)
I have an old story about The Salvation Army when I was 5 or so years old, but I'm not sure anyone wants to hear it....
Thanks to TSA for all they do.
Excellent prices and H-U-G-E selection makes the Salvation Army a thrifter's dream. Also, some stores have late hours on Friday and Saturday!
Over priced does not need to be #1 anything that is new have white tags and white tags never go on sale you can get things cheaper at other stores.
SAM IS THE BEST :] She makes The Rochester Store #1 =] Shes the best Cashier EVER =] Keep it up Rochester... I love your store.
I always find wonderful, useful household items at the Salvation Army Thrift Store, such as, photo albums, 50th Anniversary plates, Disney photo frames, jewelry, children's clothing, etc., etc.
For being such a large resale store, it is very neat and clean. There is usually a special theme of items accepted for donation on display when you walk in the door. The sizes are organized down to the color! There are always daily sales announced as you shop. Everyone who works there is so nice. It's a real treat to shop there.
I think the location in Clinton Twp is the best. Nancy and the staff are very friendly.
I think the store in Clinton Twp. is the best of all their locations!! Nancy and the rest of the staff are all very friendly.
They have great stuff and I always come home with great finds in clothing and jewelry.
I shop at The Salvation Army thrift to support their assistance to the poor and the broken hearted.
I love my Clinton Township Salvation Army Store! They always have new and different stuff, from clothes to household items and of course, great deals!! Its like a treasure hunt every time I go there. The staff is always friendly and helpful. I am hooked on the Salvation Army!!
The clothes are always neat and arranged by color, which makes it EXTREMELY easy to shop for exactly what you want. I have found many new items with sales tags from the original store still attached.
They have a constantly changing selection of merchandise that is priced just right.

Do you love antiques?! They Have Them!!! Come check out the Beautiful displays that the staff puts together!! Great Teamwork!!!!
You will Never...Find a better deal than 5 For $5!!! 5 Peices of clothing for $5?!??!?! They must be crazy!!! Nah, They just love the customers!!!!
On a very tight budget I can go in and get just about anything I need for a fraction of what a retailer would charge me. I recently purchased clothing for myself and children and come home with enough clothes for an entire weeks wear for each of us that would have cost hundreds of dollars at a retailer...hundreds of dollars we don't have. For a fraction of the what a retail would have charged me I was able to clothed my entire family...with clothes we NEEDED! Thank god for places like the Salvation Army...they help my family survive without feeling like we're going without!
I have worked there for a little over a year. I've been to other thrift stores and no one seems to be able to compare with them. Everyone is helpful and awesome. Plus, we're the only thrift store with a return policy and fitting rooms. The Salvation Army is best, hands down.
Great selection. Good discounts on senior day. Have many close by locations. The Army does good work and want to support.
You can always find something interesting there and prices are fair. Loads of fun when the specials are going on.
