There's nothing fancy about this beloved pizza palace. The foyer is festooned with a garland of empty Chianti bottles, an indicator of the good time to come. Tiny plastic-covered tables are shoved together, so conversation flows among the diners, mostly families looking for a night out. The menu is full of reasonably priced Italian favorites, but most choose the antipasto salad, Loui's crusty pizza and a glass of red wine for toasting.

I moved to the metro detroit area with my hubby 7 years ago & one of the first places he took me was Loui's, I was stunned!! The anti & pizza is the best ever no one else compares!! The friendly service is A+++++++++ Kim is #1 in my book!!

The pizza, the salad, the friendly environment, the darilng Nancy behind the bar.... why would anyone go anywhere else? Its the best deepest pizza EVER!

Is there any other Pizza place besides Loui's - I had not even noticed! They have the best Pizza, Antipasto Salad and Bartender - Nancy - hands down! Why would anyone go anywhere else??

Hands down, "Thee best pie in the Metro Detroit area".
Where as most joints are franchised and have many outlets there is only,
1 Loui's Pizza.
Always consistent, like I said, you won't find a better pie or Antipasto salad anywhere.

Not only is Nancy the best bar tender and Jan the best server, it's a toss up as to what's better, the pizza, salad or the wait staff! As far as I'm concerned, I won't eat pizza any other place. That's my 20 year old story and I'm sticking to it!

I would travel to the ends of the earth for Loui's pizza. Their pizza outshines Shield's anyday of the week. You can't beat their deep dish pizza. I wish I could eat their famous pizza everyday of the week. Keep up the good work Loui's. A big fan from Warren, Michigan!

I have been going to Loui's since I was in high school. The food hasen't changed. It is still as great as it was in 1978. Hazel Park should be proud of this place for the good name Loui's has brought to the city.

This place is hands down the best in metro Detroit. Do yourself a favor and before you vote for one those big chains you think has good pizza...go eat a Loui's, then come back and vote. They have been there for years, the atmosphere is old world and the pizza is unmatched...especially by some corporate chain place.

The best pizza in the world. There could not be a better pizza, it is PERFECT. People who voted for others, have not had the pleasure of experiencing it yet. I know that anyone who tries it will love nothing better, it is an absolute WORK OF ART.

I have been eating at Louies ALL OF MY LIFE, My folks went there when they were dating/ 1st married, we ALL celebrated our birthdays there and I have turned all my friends on to Louies great pizza, service and "we remember you feeling" They are really the best tasting pizza around!! Thick, crispy crust, ooooozing with cheese and just the right amount of asuce to compliment and the antipasto salaed....OMG the best!

Louie's has the best pizza by far as well as their cheeseburger deluxe with mostaccioli, it rules.
They also make the best long Island ice tea.

I love Loui's pizza and antipasta salad. Their dressing is also delicious. I would definitely recommend eating at Loui's Pizza if you are looking for great food and decent prices!

Chicago has nothing on this pizza lover's dream place. The cheese is outstanding, the crust is perfect and so tasty. The antipasta salad is unbeatable and it's a MUST have with the pizza. I crave them both again and again!
