Party Cakes is a specialty cake store offering fresh made cakes with home made butter cream icings and unique designs for every budget. We have added a "mini" menu to our list of fare which includes cheese cakes, bar cookies, tarts, cannoli, rum balls, pastry hearts, pecan bars, lemon bars and cake truffles. Awarded Blue Ribbons at the Michigan State Fair for cake design and Banana cake recipe, Party Cakes continues to grow to meet the needs of its clients. We can guarantee a "nut free" environment for people with allergies and have dairy free icings for customers who cannot tolerate butter. We even have an eggless cake for the little kids who are sensitive to eggs. Diabetics can enjoy a sugar free cheese cake or sugar free cream cheese icing on a standard cake. Everything is custom made so you will always get a fresh product, not a leftover on a shelf. The cakes are out of this world !! Party Cakes made the most creative beautiful cake for my daughters 2nd birthday ! It was Abby Caddaby and it was adorable !!! Everyone at her party came up and asked me where I got the cake and remarked that it was the best cake and frosting that they ever had !!!! The banana cake is the absolute best cake ever !!!!

There are too many good things to say about Valerie and the staff at Party Cakes. I found her on the internet, actually, seeing that she had received such wonderful reviews. She made a carousel cake for my daughter's 1st birthday. It was beyond amazing!! Then she made my daughter's baptism cake and I ordered all kinds of yummy treats such as the lemon bars(YUM), cake truffles, cheesecakes, etc etc to have at the baptism for the dessert table. People raved up and down about them. Then I just had her make a speedboat for my husband's birthday and it was EXACT. Not only does she do exactly what I wish, but the cakes taste phenomenal. She is so friendly and helpful AND kind. I will honestly never use another bakery now that I have found Party Cakes.
If you have not gone to Party Cakes, you must go now and order a cake! I can promise that you will never taste a better cake in your life.

Party Cakes makes the most delicious cakes I've ever tasted, and they have all been works of art visually. I have ordered a naughty bachelorette cake, an incredible "hamburger" cake for my vegetarian grandson, and on and on over the years. I've never been anything short of delighted with the results.

A few years ago, you did a goth wedding cake for a friend of mine. I also saw some of your work at another friends batchelorette party. The "anatomically correct" cake was a total hit. I'm glad to find a bakery that caters to ALL people and not snobby like others. Your cakes ARE the best in Detroit.

Best Cakes, Best prices. Always creates "over the top" cakes for our family. They make the same type of cakes that Duff G does on the Food Network's "Ace of Cakes" except they do it with butter creme icing. And that is harder to do. They did a friend of our's wedding cake... it looked just like the Eifel Tower. It was unbelievable. Everyone was Oooing and Ahhhing over it. They will have our business for years to come.

Best Cakes in the State. Won blue ribbons at the state fair. I see many places that carry Party Cakes cakes and other Party Cakes goods. If others stores carry them..maybe you should try them. You'll like them. They are friendly..and the cakes are out of this world.

I was sent to Val by a good friend who has used Val for some cakes. HOW ever I was looking for a Specialty cake, a Naughty cake for a bucks party. NOT only did she come thru the cake was the main focus of the party. It was a shame we had to cut into it. Great job Val. Cheers, JR.

Val is the best!! Here cakes are amazing and there is always something different when you go in there. Try the cake truffles.
And her Bumpy Cake is so much better than Saunder's. You haven't had a Bumpy Cake till you have tried Val's

Customer service cannot be beat! I ordered a birthday cake, last minute, needed it to be delivered, and Valerie came through with flying colors! I'm deeply grateful for their services. They absolutely deserve to win the #1 spot in Detroit, if not the entire country!

Party Cakes is so easy to deal with. I had them do my wedding cake- marble with the anniversary cake being lemon. We got so many compliments on the cake- as well as the cupcakes we had on all the tables! We also ordered a carmel torte as a grooms cake- we definitely recommend it! SOOOOO GOOOOD!!!

I just love this bakery! I am getting married in 2 months and Val is making my cake. I have absolutely no worries about it...I know the cake will be perfect and delicious! Try the lemon...it's my favorite!

Went to tasting for Goddaughter's 1st Birthday Cake. French Vanilla is the best I've ever tasted. Took samples home to her mother, so I thought the baby went into her diaper bag while I was driving and had her own cake tasting. She didn't leave any french vanilla samples.

As a person with a sweet tooth, this is where the cravings end. The cakes are beautiful too. I have traveled around the world and Berkley has the best cakes hands down thanks to PARTY CAKES!!!!!

This bakery has the most beautifully decorated cakes. They can also do special requests for people with nut allergies and other dietary concerns too.
