Normand and staff have created a space that reminds us of a mid-century musuem - with the incredible advantage of be able to bring your favorite pieces home. All of our favorite furniture comes from Machine Age and we look forward to adding more in the near future.

Machine Age has an excellent selection of mid-century furniture with a courteous and knowledgeable staff. Norman was way ahead of the others in appreciating modern furniture design.

Machine Age is a true "concept" store, like you could find in Paris or Milan, and Boston can be proud to have this A-List Ali-Baba cavern of furniture treasures to call its own.

Wonderful store, wonderful, original selection. Mr. Mainville and his staff are always courteous, helpful and extremely knowledgeable. The store is filled with treasures and we have been returning clients for years now... The only problem is that the location is a bit hard to find at first, but once there, parking is convenient and the space is bigger, with an even better selection than before. Machine-Age is definitely "A-List."

Machine Age is an extraordinary gallery! You could walk through the space 10 times and at every turn see an icon of modern design staring back at you! The owner, Normand Mainville, has the gift of selecting some of the most beautifully crafted furniture you can find, all original. This is definitely expensive, one of a kind furniture for the highly discerning customer, for art collectors, architects, designers and the like: people with an eye and appreciation for true original 20th century design. I personally love it: and with every purchase I have made for my home, I have felt I was bringing in something truly special to live with.

Machine Age is like stepping into a museum of modern twentieth century design, except that you can actually touch and feel every piece and even.. bring it home if you like it and.. if you can afford it... ;-)

Machine Age just rocks. A great assortment of high end vintage furniture and a really fun warehouse to boot. Tons to choose from, none of which look like it came from a furniture mega retailer. This is a place for someone who doesn't want furniture that looks like everyone elses.
