"Housed in a converted greenhouse, Daedalus makes good use of its two-story digs, with a separate bar and dining area on the first floor and a dark lounge area upstairs where there is another bar, couches, and tables situated under the glass roof. These days the second floor is packed with a lively weekend crowd sampling such appetizers as crispy, tangy panseared crab cakes with chipotle aioli served over tossed greens. The menu changes seasonally, highlighting traditional dishes with interesting twists.... fair prices and charming atmosphere make Daedalus the kind of place that could become a neighborhood favorite. This place went from great to simply amazing! It is a local favorite of mine and my friends for their good food, drink and atmosphere. They have truely outdone themselves recently, by adding a classy rooftop seating area (the only one in Harvard Sq. to my knowledge). Without a doubt, this place is the number one spot for the young and sophisticated. If you haven't yet been, you must; just please leave me a seat on roofdeck for my dinner and mojito!

Daedalus is just one of the great things about Cambridge. They have fantastic food, not too expensive, and friendly waiters/bartenders. Even though it's around the corner from Harvard the crowd is pretty mixed. Plus it's only a 5 minute walk for me so how can you beat that?
