Allegria was super helpful when looking for my wedding gown. I had been to a couple other shops and they were very stuffy and didn't really help me find what I wanted. The sales consultant at Allegria was so nice and I felt she was not trying to just get me to buy any old dress, but truly helping me find what was best for me. I had a great experience and would highly recommend it to anyone!

The service at Allegria does not compare to other bridal stores in the Boston area. The personal attention that I received goes unmatched. Allegria has a large selection of gowns, and I had no desire to look at another store, after going to Allegria!

I used Allegria Bridal to find and purchase my Bridesmaids dresses. I felt they went above and beyond to provide excellent service. Some examples of this service included talking me through every street when I got lost until I found the salon., went through measurements of every girls dress and pointed out problems that I would not have foreseen, used multiple methods of communication including both telephone and email (which was helpful while I was at work), accommodated my busy schedule, and always no matter how busy they were made me feel like I was was the most important customer. The bridal consultants were friendly, honest, and trustworthy. I would recommend them to anyone planning a wedding or other specialty event.

I live in Connecticut and drove up to make my appointment at the other bridal salon right down the road from Allegria. I won't mention their name. When I arrived there however, I was disgusted at the way I was treated. The staff at this other salon (as well as the owner) were not only rude and dismissive, but extremely pushy. They did NOT have a sample of the designer's dress that I had discussed over the phone for me to try on or even samples of the fabric available in that line! After trying on a "similar" dress the staff pressured me to fill out a form to special order a dress I had not even seen. Insane! Luckily I had not put down a deposit, and canceled the "order" with those guys.
As I left that salon, I thought "well, I should try Allegria too, just in case they have the samples before driving all the way back to Ct." I would like to point out that while I did not have an appointment with Allegria, I was still greeted and helped with my request immediately. I waited for about five whole minutes before a Liancarlo gown (of a very similar cut and fabric) was brought out from the back room by one of the staff. I was allowed to try it on downstairs (again, no appointment) my measurements were taken, and then Courtney Jeffcoat told me that she would not only get the specific dress for me to try on but ALL of the fabric samples that it could be ordered in. Turns out that this dress comes in about six colors - including seafoam green, yahoo.
A few weeks later I received a call from Courtney informing me that the sample dress as well as the fabric swatches had arrived and I could come up anytime. I drove up again that weekend, tried on the dress, ordered it and had it set up for delivery to Connecticut. They even gave me a swatch of the white fabric (as much as I want to look like a human avacado, no - I did not get the seafoam color) to take home with me.
A few months later and I'm just calling to check on the status of my dress and Courtney informs me that she just called Liancarlo, the dress is ready and she can ship it to me as soon as I'm ready. I received the gown a few weeks later - the designer ships it to the salon first so that the staff can inspect it - and it is PERFECT.
I don't think I have ever received such professional service from anyone. This was well worth a couple of day-trips!

Tracy and Barbara of Allegira are simply wonderful! Despite being extremely busy on my first day trying on a gown with them, they took time to make sure I tried on as many styles as I wanted and helped make some great recommendations based on my style, body type, wedding, etc. A fabulous team, with fabulous taste and service- they are simply the best of boston!!

They helped us get the bridesmaids' dresses in the fabric we wanted -- the maker had advertised it but then said it was not available. Allegria called and cajoled them til they did it, and the dresses are BEAUTIFUL!!

The sisters are fantastique! I was turned off by the snotty stores downtown and they were fun, relaxed and were great to work with. I found the perfect dress that Tracey picked out for me from all that I had picked and it's amazing.

Absolutely fantastic customer service! The women at Allegria worked with me to customize my dress and definitely bent over backwards to meet my needs/wants. They were also so organized and pleasant to work with that the experience was very smooth - they were definitely one of my favorite vendors! Also, they carry Judd Waddell designs which I love.

Allegria may be a smaller shop than some, but it has only the best styles, no rummaging through unflattering, out of date dresses. From classic to modern, they know what looks good on all types and sizes of brides and carry enough variety to suit anyone. Shopping at Allergira is like shopping for a dress with your best girlfriend-- honest and with your style in mind, not their own!

I describe what I was looking for in a wedding gown (off-white and not strapless) and the very 1st gown I was shown was the one! I tried on several different gowns, but the first one selected by the owner was perfect for what I wanted...I received so many compliments on my wedding dress.
