The Book Oasis is a second-hand bookstore with a 30,000 volume selection of fiction, non-fiction, large print, comic books and gifts. We are located just 10 miles from Boston. New books are also available at discount and we can order books for your summer reading list or book club needs as well. Come see our unique handmade bookbags, purses, and bookcovers.

They know every book in the store; they can recommend the right book; they sell used books, which have so much more character than new ones; they keep track of your frequent purchase card. Personal service!!!!!!

There is a wide variety of books and they are displayed in an interesting display that helps one find specific titles or discover new books that will soon become favorites. I also have found the service exceptional.

Always have what I need, if they don't they try to get ASAP. Deb makes the greatest one of a kind cloth purses. Very homey and welcoming.

The owners and staff are extremely helpful. They don't just sit behind the counter while you shop; if you need help locating a specific book or a book on a specific topic, they spend a lot of time helping you look for the right item. Very friendly, pleasant atmosphere.

The Book Oasis is more than a bookstore. It's like being at home with people who love books. it's cozy and the proprietors, Dan and Debbie Sullivan, are helpful and mellow. There is the bonus of Debbie's lovely crafts, such as homemade handbags.
