I just got a job in the North End a couple months ago, and ever since I first walked into the Beanstock, the employees have welcomed me with a smile and delicious coffee. Actually, that first time, I didn't realize it was cash only, and when I presented them with my card, and then a look of horror, they asked if I was in the neighborhood, and said it would be totally okay for me to pay them later. Their sense of trust and generosity really impressed me, and helped make me feel at home.

They not only have the greatest coffee but the food is fantastic as well as the boss and the employees. It's one big happy family and everyone knows not only what you order on a daily basis but your name as well.

Out of this world sandwiches and baked goods. As if that wasn't enough - the owner and employees are tremendous. It's a welcome break to my work day -- particularly since my husband and I go there just about every day for lunch!
