Explosive, erudite and energetic, Boston's the Blue Bloods bust out hard hitting, almost anthemic punk rock tunes to bring a crowd up off their feet and into the air. The emphasis is on the rock -- hard hitting and hooky guitar work complementing raw and melodic vocals. They aptly synthesize their influences, which include Minor Threat, Slapshot, Black Flag, The Misfits, Bad Religion, Social Distortion, The Bouncing Souls and more.

I have been listening to The Blue Bloods for a few years now. I used to be a radio d.j. and assistant music director, when their Death of a Salesman album was put into my hands, I couldn't get enough of it. Now they have a new album out, and they have not disappointed me in the least. They are good punk, and being from Boston is a double plus.

This band is energetic, enthusiastic, entertaining, and talented. They are also dedicated to their fans and the punk scene. It is a group that is filled with genuinely nice individuals. Just fun to see live.
