Beehive
The Beehive at the BCA is a neighborhood cafe des artistes. Located in the underbelly of the Cyclorama building, the former boiler room has the look and feel of an artist's studio, complimented by works of art and musical entertainment (mostly jazz) of local artists. The "starving artist" bar offers a college rustic, artisinal fare from Europe, the Mediterranean, and America.

Definitely the best new bar in Boston for 2007-8. It begins with a great menu with home-style dishes prepared by a first class chef. The evening scene is something that is so unique to Boston. The music (great jazz) has a presence but certainly doesn't overpower. Great one-of-a-kind spot that I hope more people discover.
Boston's Beehive is an amazing place - one stop shopping for food, entertainment, cocktails by the all-star staff (for those that don't know the Beehive hired all the best bartenders from around the city as almost an "all-star" team! Chef Rebecca Newell is amazing in the kitchen and the underground music scene hasn't even been spoken of yet. Anyone that knows Jazz understands what's going on there...and the coolest thing..they don't even press it! I love this place! Go on a Mon-Wed for the best experience!
