Their subs & dinners are out of this world, especially, their "Meridian Special" sub which is made like everything else with the freshest ingredients and their Chicken Parmigiana sub made with home-made gravy which tastes "just like Mama's"!!!!

I've tried many sandwich shops and this is the Best, hands down! The sign of a well run restaurant is the cleanliness of the kitchen and preparation area, it doesn’t get any cleaner! The sandwich prep area looks like a display! Freddy, Paulie and the rest of the crew are super friendly and take the time to make sure you get the best meal every time! The Special is the best sandwich or the eggplant or the chicken parm…!

From someone who really enjoys the art of dinning, I highly recommend Meridian Market for all of their products. The food is only one of the establishment's pride & joy, friendliness is an asset one could appreciate from the owners. The smell of Italian food, sound of laughter and the pleasant views that walk by are a great source of stress relief for me. Sometimes I just can't wait for lunch so I go earlier for brunch. GO THERE!!!!

Well I work at the east Boston neighborhood health center and i think their food is ver very very tasty and good it makes my mouth water. AND I LOVE THEM their prices are awesome and i get my lunch on time.

Myself and a few coworkers, we always go to them for lunch and love going there every day! They serve Fresh food everyday! Staff is respectful and kind and provide swift service! When we walk in the front door it looks so clean I think we can even eat off the floor! They are truly take the prize home when it comes to customer service and beats my time in half when I was working in a sub shop a few years ago! I feel like home around family when I walk into their shop! They are hard workers! And they do it so well like mozart's symphony! Like a well oiled machine! type of deal! They will always have my vote! This just makes me want to go there more and more every day!

I work in Downtown Boston and myself and a couple of coworkers goes to meridian almost everyday! They are quick and fully respectable people who work in there! The place is never dirty and the food is always fresh!

The Meridian has the winning combination of fresh,crusty italian seeded rolls, the best of imported Italian cold cuts, fresh cut toppings and the best homemade chicken cutlets you have ever tasted. The service is always gracious and courteous and the warmth of Freddie, Paul and their parents permeate each and every sandwich they make. The Meridian Food Market if by far the best place to eat and coming from an Italian, that says volumes!!!

Meridian mkt is the best place on the planet.the quality and variety of the menu is outstanding the guys Freddy and Paulie are polite and fast in preparing your food it is a dining experience right out of the book from the old country when relatives and friends come in from out of town i take them to meridian and they are amazed it doesn't get any better than Meridian mkt.

They have the best authentic(I think) Italian food,it is ALWAYS crowded in there by everyone,locals,police man,fire man,you name it everyone in East Boston and beyond loves this place. I travel from Jamaica Plain on the Orange Line just to get a sandwich and travel BACK.
I am surprised they don't really get to much exposure.
