At Michael of Boston, we encourage our brides to be a part of the creative design process. With designer Michael McDonald, the bride can create the perfect gown, view Michael’s original designs, or select from other bridal gowns. Michael McDonald began his bridal career at Priscilla of Boston, under the direction of the original owner, Priscilla Kidder. After several years designing gowns there, Michael decided to create his own line of beautiful gowns and veils. Michael’s designs are available through select stores in the United States. He offers a wonderful ability to understand exactly what each bride is looking for, and can sketch a design for the bride to help her decide what gown to choose. He is also able to provide this custom service for the salons that carry his gowns country wide. The salon also offers bridal gowns, flower girl dresses, veils, mantillas and much more, from well known companies. Each bride will have all their bridal gown wishes and desires answered at Michael of Boston.

This is a small shop with outstanding personal service. You are able to stop in and speak with the designer himself. The staff is more than willing to offer suggestions for accessories, styles, etc. but will also let you fend for yourself if that is what you prefer. It is a first class friendly shop!
Michael has imagination, patience, humor, and designs beautiful gowns. A pleasure to work with, and a pleasure to know.
