Since teaming up in the early 1970s, Bill McCormick and Doug Schmick have established more than 50 restaurants and catering operations throughout the country - an extraordinary feat in a business with the highest attrition rate of any in the United States. Fresh seafood flown in daily and a menu that is printed twice a day based on the fresh catch. Great service and a great bar (Park Plaza specifically) makes this a no-brainer.

wonderful food and service
I love the concept of a new menu printed twice a day only including fresh fish. They also will print names of special events on that daily menu in honor of a birthday or anniversary.
I love the daily menu, so there is always something different. And the quality is consistently excellent, as is the service. And great drinks!

The fish is flown in fresh every day and the menu is so creative. Absolutely the best mussels and steamers around! Great dishes with wonderful sides, excellent service and don't forget to try one of their fabulous lemon drop martinis and the "chocolate bag" dessert. Yum!

Wide daily selection of fresh seafood from many regions. Preparations are New American Cuisine without ostentatiousness. Crisp Service, classic yet hip atmosphere.

Their oysters on the half shell are terrific, and their seafood is always fresh. Best seafood in all of Boston, its not even close.

Had a dinner there a few weeks ago with a party of 8. The waiter was extremely knowledgeable about the food and its preparation. I had the wild salmon and the ahi appetizer. it was great.
