this is my business

From its humble beginnings as the sub-section of a larger store, Tokyo Kid has proudly served the Japanese animation community for almost 10 years. Located in the Garage Mall in historic Harvard Square, the store carries a wide selection of rare and hard to find anime collectibles, ranging from statues, action figures and posters to manga, music and DVDs, with many titles for sale and rent that you won't find at a regular retailer. One can even indulge a taste for Japanese snacks, sodas and candies, or pick up their favorite J-pop CD, featuring artists like Gackt and Malice Mizer. And this is only part of what Tokyo Kid has to offer, as the store is constantly evolving, always adding new products and services to better serve its customers.

I think it is one of the best stores I have ever been to. Even though it's a little pricey, it is still a good store to find stuff that is from Japan.

Tokyo Kid is the only place I know that sells Godzilla movies, subtitled and letter boxed, the way they were meant to be seen, just like foreign films are.

Tokyo Kid is an Anime fan's paradise. Everyone who works there has always been more than kind. The store has a huge selection of DVDs and mangas as well as a variety of things that are one of a kind. I very much enjoy making my monthly stop in to say hi and for my Anime fix.

Tokyo Kid is the best because they sell really hard to find DVDs and CDs from Japan, and not to mention pocky and ramune ^_^. The people at Tokyo Kid are really nice and super friendly, making a shopping experience there great.

On my vacation I went to Boston and went sightseeing. Who would've thought I'd see an anime store! I didn't want to leave after that and now I even have dreams of being in that store! Come move to Green Bay! Please there's nothing out here!

I always find something cool when I shop at Tokyo Kid. It is by far the best store when it comes to Anime collectibles and knick knacks. It feels like a hidden treasure in Harvard Square.

Their complete and unwavering love for what I love, anime. Other stores treat you like some kind of freak but this store embraces your inner anime otaku
