Cassavettes

It’s been just over a year since three Texan friends reunited north of the Mason-Dixon line, and added a local Bostonian. In that time, CASSAVETTES has turned more than a few heads -- scooping up “Best Local Band” in the 2006 Boston Phoenix reader’s poll and nabbing a 2006 Boston Music Award nod for “Outstanding Americana Act.” With the release of their debut full-length, “It’s Gonna Change” (release date: 12/9/2006), and more furious touring to ever-growing raucous crowds, Cassavettes’ wagon continues to pick up steam. Expect your heart to be broken, but more importantly, expect further quality tunes from these debonair young roustabouts.

One of my favorite groups..the music is fun the guys are cute..the new album has a great mix of sounds..the songs are great too
I have listened to their CD several times over. Ordinarily I'd say they don't play my kind of music, but it is just a totally different sound than anything else I have listened to. It's great road trip music and I am constantly on the road. It's a great album to listen to.
The Cassavettes are a great band to sing along with, jam out to, and sit back and watch!
They're 100% original and really blend genres of rock, folk, and country very well together.
You can always tell that they are having fun on stage, and they want to share that with you.
Listening to the Cassavettes Album CD is just like listening to them live, which is a rare thing now days! All Awesome tracks, all with their unique sounds - truly fantastic!
Each one of their shows has this crazy energy! The guys really love what they do, and you can see that in their music.
I went to high school with Glenn and want them to come to NY more often so I can stop being so lame and get to a show.
Aside from providing a great show (saw them for the first time at Great Scott's), they set up their merchandise table w/ a briefcase arranged w/ plastic cacti and Texas longhorn steer. Good music and a good sense of humor.
Strong roots band, driving rhythm, excellent tunes, including "goodbye caroline'' (or carolyn).
Their CDs rock and if you have a chance to see them live, do it! Their show will make you sing and dance all night long!
The track Debts is one of my favorites, you should definitely check Cassavettes out!
