Zocalo is a cozy and friendly neighborhood restaurant in Arlington. We offer simple, traditional and authentic mexican cuisine. Some of our popular dishes include chile relenos de pollo mole, cochinita pibil and camarones al mojo de ajo. To compliment our food, we have different kinds of sangria, mexican beers and latin american wines. Recently, we opened a bigger location in Brighton, MA on 1414 Commonwealth Avenue. Come visit us soon.

Friendly, fast service, yummy food and drinks - and a great place to linger over a pitcher of sangria!
great food and you can't beat the prices...have never been disappointed in the many times I've eaten there.
This is the best authentic Mexican anywhere around and reasonably priced. The food is always fresh and the service is great.
The food is always great. Colorful Mexican decor. Very friendly and helpful staff.
The Guacamole is made fresh from avocados shipped directly from Mexico. Also, the authentic mask from Guadalajara which decorates around the restaurant makes the extra ambiance!!!
The food is very tasty and reasonable. A very cute atmosphere with exceptional service.
healthy eats... grilled food - so good... food so authentic, clean! amazing settings, funny masks!
I visited a friend of mine in Boston and she was raving about this restaurant. And she was right. The food was authentic and amazing. The venue is festive and colorful. Price was great.
The staff is so amazingly friendly, the decor is incredibly appealing and the food is beyond delicious.
the interior is intimate without being pretentious, food quality is very good. great neighborhood place. excellent service.
I love the food and atmosphere right around the corner. Delicious mango sangria!
It is the best. It is so good I am not sure I want to vote because I will have to share this wonderful place.
Zocalo is the BEST!!! What makes them the best is the FOOD, the service and people and did I mention the FOOD?!! Seriously though being a transplant from Southern California I know good Mexican when I've had it and this is THE BEST FOOD!!!
Authentic Mexican in Boston is hard to find, but Zocalo nails it. Huge portions for a small price. Clean atmosphere. Amazing food. Incredibly hot spicy salsa but with mild options as well. Riccardo (the owner) goes out of his way to get to know his customers and does everything he can to keep them happy.
I've been going to this restaurant from the beginning when it was called Ole. It's expanded and word has traveled -- it's always crowded, the food is always great and the sangria is wonderful. Best of all, I can walk there! It's a colorful and cheerful place to be.
They make the best and only genuine Chile Rellenos in all of Boston. To eat one is to sample a little bit of heaven. The homemade salsa is great, friendly people, easy parking. I LOVE IT
Fabulous and interesting menu, amazing salsa and guacamole (make it right in front of you!) and wonderful setting and ambiance! Love it!
Best guac ever! Wonderfully friendly folk. A distinctly different selection of Mexican fare. Mole, mole, mole!
The service is wonderful. The salsa is fresh! Sangria to die for. The Polle Mole is fantastic - not to be missed! WOW!
I love Zocalo! The authenticity of the food as well as the decor makes it a wonderful dining experience. Make sure you stop by the boutique.
We came all the way from Norfolk, Virginia to eat at Zocalo's! The "watch us make it" guacamole bar is the best anywhere--the list of chile relenos dishes is most impressive and they are all delicious!
Friendly service. Distinctive not just formulaic Mexican cuisine (try Cochinita Pibil). Excellent flan. Excellent reasonably priced wines.
Homemade sangria, guacamole, unusual and authentic in a cozy atmosphere with reasonable prices.
The mole is outstanding and would keep me coming back by itself, but everything on the menu is delicious. The staff there are also particularly warm and accommodating.
Absolutely amazing! I have yet to find another Mexican restaurant comparable to it!
I heard great things about this place and would surely visit if we are in Boston!
We've eaten at Border Cafe, Fajitas & Ritas, Boca Grande, and a few others. Zocalo (formerly Ole') has always been consistent and great tasting!
