Some like it hot and none more so than The Fireplace’s owner and chef Jim Solomon. After 14 years of learning every facet of the restaurant industry, Solomon opened his dream restaurant, The Fireplace, in September of 2001. The Fireplace is a New England grill and barbeque, with an emphasis on wood-smoked and rotisserie dishes utilizing the freshest offerings of the New England region.

Fine food,wonderful atmosphere,clean,polite wait staff willing to help in any way. They take great pride in their restaurant and it shows. All this and a working fireplace to add to the cozy feel of this romantic spot. Bravo Jim Soloman

Have been there for Brunch, Lunch and Dinner. Always consistently great food and, service. Very warm atmosphere. Have meet and chatted with Jim Solomon, the owner. He really cares about the quality and service and decor of the restaurant.

I know everyone says the restaurant chosen by them gives everything prepared there personal touch but you have to go to The Fireplace to understand and see how true that statement is. You will NOT be disappointed.

The Fireplace is new to me but the historic menus items with modern twists are my idea of real comfort food. The ambiance and service add to the cozy romantic feel, which puts this restaurant at the top of my list.

I have dinned at the Fireplace; no waiting, beautiful interior and wonderful people to dine next to. The wait staff is wonderful and very polite. And, the food...it's great! That's all I have to say.

Each and every trip to the Fireplace is the most enjoyable culinary experience. Jim and his crew have created a standard of excellence that is unparalleled. Everything on the menu is created beautifully and with great attention to detail. Superb wine list which is priced fairly coupled with a vast array of expertly made cocktails makes this place on fire! Salute!

The best brunch period! Jim and the staff turn out some of the finest breakfast treats around. What's great however is the fact that you can get here without the expensive valet car destroying animals and parking hassles. By the way the Bloody Marys are killer.
