I just joined up at this place, I love it. My brother's been going there for a while. They've got all the equipment you could want in a gym, plus an octagon, all types of bags, and most importantly great trainers.
This is the best gym by far. There are always great people to spar with and the classes are NEVER too full.
Great place to train and meet new people interested in MMA! Everyone is always nice!
Great instructors, huge clean facility, by far the best place in Boston to train!
I am still impressed by the amount of one-on-one attention that Wai-Kru's world class trainers routinely offer their students. I believe it's the main reason that new students are able to ramp up their knowledge so quickly and seasoned fighters improve so dramatically as compared to other martial art programs I have been involved in over the past 20 years - including those I personally led.
If you aren't training at Wai-Kru, you aren't maximizing your potential.
I was new and went for a free lesson. The instructor gave me so much personal attention to really get me started, and really took the time to explain things to me.
Best Instructors by far.... and I should know, I have trained everywhere in Boston!
I just joined Wai Kru 2 weeks ago after training at another gym for a year. Compared to every other gym I've been to, no gym has better instructors that will push you harder than Wai Kru. One of the most rewarding experiences ever.
Accomplished martial artists who know what they are doing, specifically in muay thai
These guys are all squared away with a really nice facility. If I ever move back to Massachusetts, I know where I'll be training.
I was pretty let down with my trail lesson there. The trainers weren't too good.
Because when you are rolling around with another guy getting sweaty they make you forget how gay you actually look
Whatever your level, you get hands on instruction, both in and out of class and it's the best deal for the money in town to boot. Best workout of my life!
Amazing support of both teachers and other members in an intense yet relaxed atmosphere. Treats female members no differently than the men, which is really important in martial arts.
Waikru Is the Best Gym in the state period.
It's a place where people come to work hard and leave their egos outside the door.
Wai Kru is the most intense and comprehensive mixed martial arts training facility in the North East.
Alex Costa is a phenomenal instructor. The gym is a great space, always good people to roll with.
Tons of space, lots of equipment. Lots of bags, mats, and even an octagon. Definitely the best gym in Boston for MMA training. Also, these guys really make everybody feel welcome. Drop in and see for yourself.
what a fabulous place! the trainers are amazing and give you all the time and attention needed to learn the techniques!
WaiKru is a very good camp.
Their staff are very detailed in their training.
Alex takes his time and makes sure we are learning proper bjj technique. Kru John and Mark are outstanding coaches. Their Muay thai training is not like a group session. They train just like thailand. cardio, techniques, bags, 1 on 1 pad work and sparring. a very good camp to work with.
I trained at their gym and the teachers give you attention and make sure you are doing things correctly. They take the time to help out anyone who needs it and the atmosphere was very welcoming and not competitive like some gyms. The people over there want to learn and do well but not at the expense of other people's learning. Everyone is learning and shares information with each other. It doesn't matter if you're a beginner or expert, people treat you the same: with respect. Great place.
I love this place, I can go as often as I want and get quality instruction every time.
The level of mma competition and mma training in the that gym is the highest that I have seen among the many fight gym's that i have trained at over the years. Furthermore the coaches have the greatest zeal (and many times patience), and respect for the fighters/sport that I have ever seen.
Kru John is a great trainer, Kru Mark is one of the most knowledgeable coaches I have ever worked with, even techniques I thought I knew well, he has been able to improve. I just started doing the Jujitsu and I think I'm hooked. Wai Kru is the best gym I have ever trained at (and there have been many) people are there to train hard and ego's are checked at the door.
Great no hassle work-out with helpful staff!
Other members are of "same mind set," making the bouts and training easy.
Wai Kru is an amazing environment that pushes one to become stronger and more fit as well as more advanced in the art they are learning. The trainer John is great too! He is the kind of trainer that you want to work hard for and he knows everything that one needs to become a strong fighter. I recommend Wai Kru to anyone who is interested in Muay Thai or any other martial art.
Great Gym. There are just no other gyms in Boston that are open these kind of hours. Instructors are top notch.
Wai Kru has well informed trainers and an energy that one seldom finds in a fighting gym. Anyone can come, anyone can become good. There aren't any tough guys shunning newcomers.
They are obviously the best... the only REAL mixed martial arts gym in the Boston area, the training is top notch, and the prices are awesome. That's all you need!
Always someone good to train with and lots of personal attention from the instructors
