The Winthrop Playmakers is a not-for-profit corporation founded in 1938 and incorporated in 1965, serving Winthrop, Massachusetts and surrounding communities with 100 members performing four to six productions each year. Our mission statement is "to foster and promote an appreciation of the theatre arts and to stimulate production of living theatre for the entertainment and cultural enrichment of the community."

The Winthrop Playmakers offers such a wonderful variety of shows, plays, musical shows, etc. They are very dedicated, actors and staff alike. They offer many different shows or all age groups. Every time I attend one of their events, they are fabulous. It's a great organization and they deserve to win!! Thank you.
