The gym closes early (9:30 for the pool and 10 for the gym--earlier on the weekends) and there aren't that many evening cycle classes (and most of the spin classes are taught by the same person, so if you want a variety of teachers, that is hard to get on an evening membership). The cardio equipment is typical. The locker rooms are very pretty, but seem to be arranged in such a way that people are always in each other's way even when the gym itself is not that crowded. The pool also gets lots some splashy yelling kids on the weekends, so if you want a peaceful lap swim be sure to work around the "family" hours. The yoga instructors are very good, however, and the yoga studio is nice. Also there aren't that many young (30s) folks here, so if your hope is to meet people in that age range that might be challenging.

Maryanne, the manager of Tenley Sport & Health, is just terrific. She is polite, professional and above all, pleasant. My friends and I love the giant pool there, too!
