Typhoon Softball League

With origins dating back to the mid-1990's, The Typhoon Softball League developed out of a thirst to play by several Asian graduate students in the Boston area. From its inception until 2004, the TSL was an 8 team league that was mostly represented by area Universities and Associations. The games back then were played in a very informal style where teams would meet at an agreed time each Sunday and warm-up until a game was eventually played. Each team supplied a player designated as an umpire and the strike zone was defined by a 2’x3’ mat behind home plate. For 2007, the league size has increased once again. We are now at 24 teams which is 3 times the original size. As usual, we have tried to improve on the previous season and have new developments on the horizon. We, the Typhoon Softball League Committee, hope our hard work will pay off in the form of strength in the relationships that you’ve made while playing in our league as well your enjoyment in our growing past time. As always, thanks for your support - now let's Play Ball!

This is a great community of old and new friends that helps bring us all together through the love of softball.
Non-profit softball league with real ASA umpires. Much cheaper than other leagues with more games. Fun and competitive.
