The Comedy Spot guarantees everyone will laugh! Our weekly "ComedySportz" shows bring clean comedy improv (similar in style to TV's "Whose Line Is It Anyway?") to audiences of all ages - and our "Blue Shows" bring that same comedy improv to Adults-Only audiences. The Comedy Spot also has special events each month such as comedy hypnosis, Geek Shows, and comedy shows created by local theatre troupes.

The Comedy Spot deserves to win this, because it's taught so many kids and adults to be confident on stage and off. After taking a class here and being the youngest in my class, my team won 2nd at a Theater Sports competition at my school, the youngest team ever to do so. And we plan to win this year. You can't stop the signal.
It is an intimate environment and everyone has an opportunity to be a part of the show. The players are great!!!
It is special and different everytime my friends and I go there. The interactive fun is also good for kids as well as adults which makes it a unique family experience. There is also an adult show for those that want to enjoy the raw style improv. If you enjoy laughing then this is the place for ya.
They have the most consistently funny performers in the area, hands down. If you want a can't-miss evening of comedy, that's the place to go.
The best talent in town
Comedy Sportz is one of my favorite weekend activities because you never see the same show twice. I've been to see it several times and because it's improvisational rarely do I see the same players or the same games. It's wonderful to see the "same" and yet never seem to see material repeated. Plus, I enjoy going to see a show that I don't have to worry about feeling offended or embarrassed because of the content. Comedy Sportz rocks!!!
The Comedy Spot is not only the best place for "family fun" with the Comedy Sportz shows (i.e. no "off color" or objectionable humor) but it is in one of the easiest places (Ballston Commons Mall) to get to and has lots of dinner/after show options. Also, since it's improv comedy you'll never see the same show twice!
The family-friendly atmosphere, the wide variety of acts, the accessible location.
They have terrific actors/comedians. Matthew Hartman in particular is fantastic.
Good lighting, decent sound system. Energetic and customer oriented staff and actors. Variety of comedy to choose from including kid-family-friendly shows.

The Comedy Spot is a beautiful theatre space, in a very convenient location. There is a large variety of show offerings, and the comedy is some of the best you will see anywhere.
Because one of my fav groups performs there.
