The Blue Frog's Cakes include a Chocolate Mousse Raspberry Cake - chocolate cake layered with luscious Callebaut chocolate mousse and house special raspberry preserves, and a White Chocolate Mousse Cake - a light and creamy dessert blending layers of vanilla sponge cake with white chocolate mousse, lemon curd and blueberries. Their cookies and pastries are just as tempting. Located just off Centre Street in Jamaica Plain, the Blue Frog Bakery has been recognized locally as one of the best bakeries in the area.

I'm completely addicted to their muffins and cookies. Brad and Carrie are great and the staff is super friendly.
Fresh bread and rolls that manage the near-impossible merging of down-homey goodness and elegant craftsmanship. The danishes are so good I want to lie and say they're horrible so sales will decrease and there will be more for me, but I can not. The danishes are simply spectacular and a reason to go a little out of your way for a visit.
Does it really get any better than this? When we moved to JP 6 months ago we basically at 3 meals a day from the Blue Frog, the staff was cheerful and knowledgeable about their product. I felt like it was Cheers with Pastry.

Best Desserts in town! The Almond Croissant Bread Pudding is sell your soul, sinful! The flourless chocolate cake is dark and sensual, melts in your mouth.
