The Guild was founded in 1932 by Henry Scripps Booth, whose parents George and Ellen Scripps Booth founded the Cranbrook Educational Community. Our season includes six shows: four in our indoor playhouse (the Pavilion) and a production performed in the outdoor Cranbrook Greek Theatre each June. In November we also present a Children's Theatre production.

Amazing. Look for their upcoming season featuring the Detroit Area Community Theatre Premier of Mel Brook's new musical, The Producers! Open auditions will be held in February. Check out their website for more information.
Wow! What a performance! Topper Pennington was stunning! Kappy Pennington was amazing! Bravo! Bravo!
St Dunstan's has a wonderful stable of very talented actors, musicians and stage hands. The shows always reflect that talent. Both the indoor theater and the Greek theater are surrounded by such beautiful setting. It's always a pleasure to attend and participate in activities there.
St. Dunstan's has great "on stage" and "off stage" people working for the passion of music and theater.
I have been to many shows at St. Dunstan's through the years and have loved everyone.
They have talent, work together as a team, care for each other, and mount outstanding shows.
St. D's has consistently brought the best of theatre to the Bloomfield-Birmingham area. "Excellence" is their middle name.
St. D's offers fabulous and fun productions with great local talent. Also they have a wonderful summer program for children's theater.
Creative and talented actors, directors, set designers, makeup artists, etc. which make the productions come to life
These are hard working, dedicated folks that are talented and really know how to put on a show!
Outstanding theatrical productions......borderline professional work. "Amadeus" (which was performed in Cranbrook's outdoor Greek Theatre) and "Sweeney Todd" are just 2 excellent examples of the dedication, talent and artistry that this theatre group possesses.
Local community theater, it doesn't get better than this! Sweeney Todd was phenomenal.
St. Dunstans performances are of consistently professional quality, both artistically and technically.
Very professional, diverse and committed to quality performances. The out door theater is the best!
I grew up in Bloomfield and have enjoyed this theater over 40 years. Now the talent is only better and better. Duffy Wineman may still head to Broadway as far as I'm concerned. This theater is #1 for sure.
My home away from home for over thirty years. We just celebrated our 75th anniversary and perform our June musical in one of only six outdoor amphitheaters in the country. Pretty special!
