I love Rami's falafel in pita. They have one of those falafel machines which ensures that they're the same size and consistency each time. Fill the fresh pita up with tons of toppings -- cucumber, cabbage, onions, tomato, hummus, and hot sauce. The service is a little hit or miss -- if you're in a hurry, you may be irked a little by the conversation, but it's all in the experience. Keep in mind -- closed Friday afternoon and all day Saturday.

This hole in the wall serves the best falafel I've ever had outside of Israel. If you want a taste of what real falafel tastes like, go straight to Rami's.
