Moody's Falafel Palace occupies the space of a former White Castle. While the greasy burgers are gone, the cheap eats and fast service remain. With only a few tables and limited space, most of the business is take-out. The menu includes Middle Eastern staples such as falafel, baba ganoosh, fowl, chicken and lamb shwarma and much more. "The Palace" is cash only and don't forget to pick up a piece of tasty baklava on your way out!

The trick to the falafel palace is to stay away from the falafel. I swear by the lamb shwarma wrap. It costs like $4 -- how can you go wrong. Food suffers late night, but who can complain.
I always had a love/hate relationship with falafel palace. I love the fact that it offers something other than burger and fries after midnight, but I hate the fact that their sandwiches are so flavorless. I always end up going when I'm in Central -- so it has to get at least three stars. Some of the people behind the counter make better sandwiches -- but i'll keep that secret to myself.
Reasonably good lunch spot in Central Square. It's biggest pros are speed and price. The food is certainly passable, but nothing to write home about. I waver back and forth between the kafta and lamb shawarma. Hummus plate is good. I generally avoid the falafel -- just no flavor to it.
