We are full scale garden and greenhouse providing friendly, knowledgeable service to the educated, practiced or novice gardener. Lexington Gardens was established over 55 years ago as the Lexington Botanic Garden. Its purpose was to grow and display perennials for the rock garden, bog, borders and herbs. From that small beginning, it became a full scale garden center and greenhouse operation that is known throughout New England. It is owned and operated by the Hess family.

My wife and I always go to Lexington Gardens for plants in the spring. It is such a scenic drive passing all the historical homes along Hancock street it just adds to our visit
