Hello Everyone,
This is a truly a Gem in the City of Detroit. My Lady and I love coming here and enjoy everyone welcoming us to the performances. Our seats were great we could see everything and really enjoyed the play.
It is nice that you can dine next door before the show and have drinks on the patio with great music playing for you. Just taking in the atmosphere the Gem is such a unique part of Detroit City in a small quaint area, it is relaxing and a great time spent by all.
Nicole at Salon 501 in Ferndale referred you to us, and by the way which is another nice city!
Nicole mentioned to us that she loves going to the “Little Gem Theater” and we had to make plans to see and go there ourselves, Nicole was right the Gem is a great place!
We shall return, Thanks for all the nice hospitality you offered us.
With appreciation to Nicole for recommending the “Little Gem Theater”, we will return to both.

The best little theatre in Detroit. Professional performances at community theatre prices. Easy to get to from the suburbs. The staff is professional yet very, very helpful. These folks never say "no", but "how" and all have winning manners! Bravo to whomever does the training.
See this place, you will have a great experience.
Excellent entertainment, superb dining, exemplary staff, gracious ambience, all within the elegant Gem Theatre, who could ask for more! A true Gem!
Incredibly intimate. There is not a bad seat in the house. Amazing local and national talent. Affordable. Family owned! Historical Landmark. Love it!
I love the venue at the Gem. I love the beauty of the old building and the coziness of the theater. I love the fact that you can have a fabulous meal and be throughly entertained all in the same place. It's even priced reasonably. I go several times a year.
It's small enough to make it feel like you're part of the show. There is NO bad seat in the place. There are only wonderful people who work there!!! Doesn't get any better than this!!! Tell them we said THANKS!!!!
I was there for my mom's birthday and the manager went out of his way to make things wonderful for her 79th. The people who work there are great too. The food is delicious. A great combination of food and entertainment. Congrats!
There isn't a bad seat in the house! It's easy to get to and the Century Grill is convenient as well.
The best little theatre around. Have visited many times and will be back for more!
Great theatre, every seat is terrific, and the management is very caring and helpful.
Great shows too!
I love the closeness between the audience and cast . The venue is small town within a big city. It's cozy and I always leave with a warm feeling...not to mention a little dancing to the beat!
The Gem is a beautiful place and the staff is great especially Laurie she herself is a GEM

I love this theatre, there is not one in town that can compare to The Gem. Some of my fondest memories are held here.
Not a bad seat in the house. Love the homey atmosphere, the restaurant attached is superb.
The size of the theater insures that everyone in the audience is actively involved...it's rare you hear snoring here.

One of the best places in the city to see a show. Intimate & charming, quality shows, and a great restaurant for dinner before the show.
I love to go to the Gem, because it is so small there isn't a bad seat in the house.
It is really two theatres in one and they preserved that delightful building by moving it. One can have refreshments during the performances.
