Erma’s Original Frozen Custard began as a small roadside stand outside downtown Utica, Michigan in 1942. While Erma’s is still just a small roadside custard stand, the menu has grown extensively to include different flavors, products, and specialties like our famous Custard Puff. For over four generations, many people have come to love Erma’s Original Frozen Custard and continue to bring their children and grandchildren back to enjoy it as well.

If you haven't had an Irma's Frozen Custard..you haven't tasted the best! Even though the lines are ALWAYS long, they move VERY fast. So worth the short wait for the BEST dessert around.

Best custard in town; they serve a wide variety of special flavors from April through October, and the portions are generous. Only drawback is the long lines!

There is no other place in the tri-county area that even comes close - especially the corporate chain type establishments. Erma's is the real thing - their frozen custard is head and shoulders above the rest - their weekly special flavors are always a special treat and their friendly, efficient staff are the best to be found. Their park-like setting is always a soothing oasis on a warm summer day. With all the ice cream places nearby, NOBODY can even compete!

The Best! I've tried many so called frozen custards, but nothing compares to Erma's. Word of mouth helps you to find this special place. Believe me you will love it once you try it.

Excellentee!!! Been going since I was a kid!!! Everyone I went to school with who has moved out of area goes to Ermas when in town! This is a must try if you have never been!!!

If you haven't been there you MUST check out ERMA's!!!!! A trip to Erma's is like a trip back in time as the roadside stand has been around since 1942! Their old fashion custard is the best I've ever had, especially the PUMPKIN custard they serve in the fall!

We love Erma's. Their Custard is better than any we have tried. Its fun to see how many people wait in line for Erma's on any day of the week. It is worth the wait!

I remember my dad taking us in the back of his pick-up truck to Erma's. It seemed so far away yet well worth the wait! Now, I take my own children to Erma's and I still order the same thing I did as a little girl - a chocolate vanilla twist cone with rainbow sprinkles!!!

We moved out in the area almost 17 years ago and we love Erma's!! It is the absolute very best ever! We can't wait for April 1st to get over there for our first fix of the season. I usually get a couple of 1/2 gallons for the freezer, which doesn't last too long.

Hands Down the Best Custard place on the planet, A trillion times better then Dairy Queen and others as well. Love their special flavors too. The pumpkin in October is hands down the best I've ever tasted in my entire life.

Erma's has the best selection of custards, explosions, toppings and inventive parfaits that can't be found anywhere else! The weekly custard flavors keep things interesting and unique all summer long. The backwoodsy ambiance and charm that Erma's has maintained throughout the years makes it one of a kind.

Well, I used to be a big fan of Ermas for many many years. It was my familys favorite place to go. But recently they have changed their custard product, at least it seems like it. Definitely not "Original" anymore.

We are a 4 generation family that goes to Erma's . My husband and I and sons live about 2 blocks away . My Grand father and Mom and Dad also go every time they come up from florida They all use to live here in Michigan. We love the old time custard - the best that is the flavor of the week.

Where do I start? We live in Warren and drive there all the time. I print out the special flavor list and let my kids circle their favorite flavors and we make sure we go.....AND hello......Pumpkin Custard! It's the best!

My grandparents went to Erma's since its opening in 1942. They took my parents there as kids, and my parents took me. My husband and I go there now. It's quite a family tradition. Erma's is the best custard around!

My husband was born in Utica, the year Erma's opened, and he introduced the yummy custard choices to me in 1968, when we were married. Each year we make trips there for their special, weekly
flavors---and the luscious Custard Puff is a must! Bob Talbert was right---It's the BEST!
